Prof. Wenxuan Yao

Hunan University

Bio: Wenxuan Yao (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the College of Electrical and Information Engineering, Hunan University, Changsha, China, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN, USA, in 2018.,He was a Research Associate with Oak Ridge National Laboratory from 2018 to 2020. He is currently a Professor with Hunan University. His research interests include wide area monitoring systems, synchrophasor applications, embedded system development, power quality, and big data analysis in power systems.,Dr. Yao was a recipient of the Research and Development 100 Award and the North American Synchro Phasor Initiative (NASPI) Outstanding Graduate Student Award. He is currently serving as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery and IET Generation, Transmission and Distribution.

Prof. Zhou Gu

Anhui Polytechnic University

Bio: Zhou Gu (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree from North China Electric Power University, Beijing, China, in 1997, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in control science and engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China, in 2007 and 2010, respectively.,From September 1996 to January 2013, he was an Associate Professor with the School of Power Engineering, Nanjing Normal University. He was a Visiting Scholar with Central Queensland University, Rockhampton, QLD, Australia, and The University of Manchester, Manchester, U.K. He is currently a Professor with Anhui Polytechnic University, Wuhu, China. His current research interests include networked control systems and their applications.
